Sekumpul Waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in Bali. In spite of this, the water flow that results is not very rapid, which means that it is safe to swim in the pool that surrounds this waterfall.
The name "Sekumpul" means "gather" or "group" in the local language. Yes, there are not just one but two waterfalls in this area. Even though the places are close to each other, the water sources for both waterfalls are different. One comes from a river, and the other comes from a natural water source. When it's sunny, there's no big difference, but when it's rainy or after it rains, the water from the river fountain will be a cloudy brown color.
In the area around Sekumpul Waterfall, there are more waterfalls than just the two mentioned above. For example, there is the Fiji Waterfall, the Puncak Sari Waterfall, and so on.
