While Malang is home to more than 20 beaches, on this occasion, I'll be covering the five that JagoJalan claims are the greatest. You should read this article thoroughly to figure out which beach is best for you, as each one has its own unique qualities and beauty.

Let's start with the most popular one, the Teluk Asmara beach. Teluk Asmara beach is so stunning that it’s frequently compared to the famous Raja Ampat beach in Papua. And I think I can't deny that fact, because Teluk Asmara Beach looks a lot like beaches in the Raja Ampat archipelago, with their clusters of coral islands scattered haphazardly over the ocean.
Teluk Asmara Beach is definitely a must-visit for every beachgoer. This is a beautiful remote beach in Malang. It has picturesque scenery with surreal sunset, pearlescent sand, pristine sea, and calm waves on the seashore.
Take the time to capture yourself here. If you want to play in the water, feel the sensation of snorkelling and explore the underwater beauty of Teluk Asmara Beach.

Tiga Warna Beach got its name because of the three different shades of blue that may be seen in a single stretch of sea. There are; clear-transparent water, light blue-coloured water and dark blue-coloured water. These colours are different because they adjust the depth of the sea itself.
I'm sure the Tiga Warna Beach is the cleanest and most trash-free of all the beautiful beaches out there. How could it not be? To maintain the beauty and cleanliness of Tiga Warna Beach, visitors are limited every day. Your bag will also be checked to see if it contains anything that could pollute the beach. If you are caught leaving trash on Tiga Warna Beach, you will also be charged as much as IDR 100,000.
For more information on the visiting limitation, you can book a slot by contacting the beach management via telephone or message them on social media.

Balekambang Beach not only boasts beautiful beaches, but it also features a one-of-a-kind icon, the Amara Jati Temple. In the midst of the ocean, on a little coral island, is where you'll find Pura Amara Jati, a temple that serves as a place of prayer for Hindus. At first impression, the landscape of this beach brings to mind Tanah Lot Beach, Bali.
This beach has pristine clear water and white sand. Access from the city is also easy with smooth roads. Not only that, the facilities are quite complete here, starting from basic facilities such as toilets and gazebos to comforting facilities such as mini cafes and lodging.

Batu Bekung Beach is another stunning beach that draws visitors to Malang. This beach is really stunning, with its powdery white sand and its emerald-coloured water. If you want to get a bird's-eye view of the area, you can hike up one of the nearby hills. Though the hike is difficult, the rewarding scenery is worth the effort.
The waves at Batu Bekung Beach are pretty strong because it is a part of the Indian Ocean. Yet, there are natural pools made by the rocks here. This is a perfect alternative for people who want to experience the joy of swimming around in the water. Because the depths vary, it is essential for parents to keep a closer eye on their children while they are swimming in this area.

Watu Leter Beach offers a slightly different experience from the other beaches on this list. The reason is, Watu Leter Beach is home to turtles. The beach at Watu Leter is used as a hub for ecotourism and turtle protection because of its remote position and peaceful atmosphere. As a result, you'll get to witness firsthand how grey turtles are released back into the wild.
It's true that other Malang beaches are more well-known, but Watu Leter Beach is just as stunning. The beach is lined with beautiful, pillowy sand, and the water is very clear. Definitely one of Malang's most popular beaches.
