The Bali Botanical Garden is the largest botanical garden that is run by the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI). It is 157.5 hectares in size. Based on information from LIPI's Bali Botanical Garden website, this area exceeds the Cibodas Botanical Gardens (84.99 ha), Bogor Botanical Gardens (87 ha), and Purwodadi Botanical Gardens (85 ha).

Known locally as Kebun Raya Bedugul or officially as Kebun Raya Eka Karya Bedugul, the gardens serve as a favourite family recreation spot as well as a unique place for botanical research, conservation and education. It provides families with a vast cool place to relax in beautiful natural surroundings while at the same time providing education about the various traditional uses of tropical plants by the Balinese people.

The Bali Botanic Gardens are located in Jalan Botanical Gardens, Candikuning, Baturiti, Tabanan Regency, Bali Province. There are many ways to get to this area. One of them is using a private vehicle. You can follow the many available signs that will guide you to this area.

The road that must be traversed is quite vulnerable to disasters—Twisty and a little sharp. So, you are advised to be careful when crossing this path. Moreover, after it rains, the roads will be slippery and very dangerous for vehicles. You have to be careful!

The ticket price for entering this area is IDR 9,000. However, foreign tourists are charged a fee of IDR 17,000. This fee is added to the parking fee for cars of IDR 10,000 and IDR 5,000 for motorbikes.
