Famoso Garden is an amusement park in Bandung which was officially opened at the end of April 2022. Famoso garden is located in Dago Pakar-Bandung and is part of the Mercusuar Cafe. Famoso Garden is an amusement park themed after an old European town. The atmosphere is so vibrant with colourful buildings lined up, makes you don't realise how much time has passed.

For any of you who are familiar with Disney or Ghibli animation, you must feel the sensation of being in the movie where you’ll find a hobbit house, Aladdin's house, a waterwheel, and various castles that you can explore. Plus, there’s one thing you should not miss: the iconic Famoso building. Its eye-catching red colour and intriguing interior will somehow maximise the Disney sensation for you.

The famoso garden area is fairly wide, as we can see the array of colourful buildings that are lined up. Thanks to the cool air and green trees in this location, even though the area is large, we as visitors don't feel much fatigue.

Famoso garden is open from morning to night, more precisely from 10 am to 7 pm and on weekends it remains open until 9 pm. From dusk to night, this amusement park features you with stunning lights that highlight their distinctive architectural buildings. In other words, the view at night is just as enchanting as it is during the day.

Famoso Park is also particularly child-friendly, therefore moms might consider it as a vacation destination with the family

Some of the buildings in Famoso Garden's row sell food. What's interesting is that you can exchange your entry ticket for the dishes that are sold here. Your entry ticket serves as a discount coupon; for example, if you purchase an entrance ticket for 20k on weekdays, you will receive a 20k discount on the meals of your choosing. But, what if the lunch costs more than the entry fee? Then you can pay the remaining balance in cash.

So, where should we exchange our entrance tickets?

There’s one building named snack choice, just like the name implies- it sells a variety of snacks you can buy. There is also a cafe that serves a variety of cuisine ranging from snacks to heavy meals for roughly 20 thousand rupiahs price, moreover, the cafe is dazzling and has good architecture. Next is the Tandoorin building, it sells some sort of cake and doughnuts you must try. Last but not least is the gelato ice cream. The flavour is various you can choose and mix as you wish. You can find this gelato ice cream inside the pink-coloured ice cream building.

Souvenir shop

If you want to bring a little piece of famoso garden, say no more! Because they provide you with souvenir or merchandise shop. Various items are being sold here ranging from t-shirts, bags, hats, mugs, and many more. Just like the dishes that can be exchanged with the entrance tickets, the same thing goes for souvenir shops as well. Isn’t it super enticing?
