That's what I would say about Batu Secret Zoo, one of the biggest zoos in Indonesia.

Batu Secret Zoo is a great place to go with your family or friends. Spread out over 17 acres of tropical parkland, Batu Secret Zoo is always ready to fascinate you with 300 unique and exotic animal species from all around the world.

In Batu Secret Zoo, you'll get a complete experience starting from meeting a variety of unique animals such as the pygmy marmoset the smallest monkey in the world, the fluffy alpaca, white lions, and many more. You can also interact, feed, and take pictures with some of these animals. If your kids are getting bored with the animals, you can take them to playgrounds, swimming pools, and the other fun places you can find here. Isn't that interesting?

Batu Secret Zoo is one of the attractions joined in Jatimpark 2. Jatimpark 2 itself is an international standard zoo-themed attraction, located in Batu City, East Java, Indonesia.

Divided into four areas, the most complete and widest area to see animals at JATIM PARK 2 is the Batu Secret Zoo, but you can also visit the other area like the eco green park, where you can interact with many friendly animals and learn about living in an eco-friendly way, the animal museum where you can see replicas of prehistoric species, and the sweet memories selfie, a ride which has colourful decorations to level up your self-photo taking experience. THE ANIMALS IN BATU SECRET ZOO

Do you love alpacas? Or do you adore wild tigers? Or you're more into African wildlife? Well, you don't have to decide because if you want to do it all, you can do it at Batu Secret Zoo.

Since the claim is that it has around 300 species of animals, I don't think we should be disappointed if the facts show that it doesn't. As a result of the fact that it is already so complete, I believe we won't ask for more when we get there. So, what exactly are they? Here are some Batu Secret Zoo’s exhibitions you might be interested in:

1. Monkey World and Monkey Island

Here you can meet a lot of monkey species, from the smallest to the largest!

2. The Aquarium

In the early way of your exploration, you’ll be brought to see a variety of fascinating fish species. The architecture is so good and unique that you won’t get bored. What’s more, you can even play around and take unique self-photos there.

3. Reptile Garden

As the name implies, you can meet with a lot of reptiles here. For instance, you can meet the rare Komodo Dragon, King Cobra, Green Tree Python, and many more.

4. Nocturnal House

Don't need to wait until night comes, here you can meet with the nocturnal species like the small Tarsius, Sunda Pangolin, and many more.

5. Savannah

As you can guess, here you'll see the groups of savannah animals like Zebra, Oryx Dammah (Scimitar-horned Oryx), Sitatunga, and many more.

6. Feeding Rhinos

Yup, that's right. You can meet and feed Rhinos here, the second-largest land mammal in the world.

7. Tiger Land and The Lions

Zoo is not a zoo if you can't meet these wild cats. Here you can meet numerous species of them like Leopards, Puma, Siberian Tiger, and many more. For the Lion, you can see African Lions and White Lions here.

OTHER RIDES IN BATU SECRET ZOO

Admiring the animals in Batu Secret Zoo is arguably fun. But, don’t waste your vacation by not trying to solve the educational puzzles there! You should also try other challenges or games you can find in every inch of the Batu Secret Zoo area. Maybe you want to know how far you can stretch like a tiger does.

As mentioned earlier, Batu Secret Zoo also provides many interesting rides, such as:

1. Animal shows

there are two animal shows that be held daily, at a certain hour. Note the schedule:

Indonesian native elephant show at 11:30 WIB*

Smart sea lion show at 12:00 WIB, 14:00 WIB, and 16:00 WIB*

2. Fantasy Land

This is a kid's waterpark you can enter without any additional purchase a.k.a this is free to enter. Make sure you bring additional clothes for your kids!

3. Animal Coaster and Tsunami

If you want to take an adrenaline-pumping ride, you must try the tsunami rides and animal coasters here!

4. Moo Moo Farm

Make sure that you gain as much new knowledge as possible from this area because you will learn a lot about farming here. There is a tiny train that will carry you to the diversion location, so make sure that you ride it!

5. Anything else you can do

Another thing you can do is take a break and enjoy the food sold here. There are food courts and snack stands spread all over the Batu Secret Zoo area. You can also find a soft ice cream stand at the end of the aquarium exhibit or near the station where you can rent an e-bike. Don't worry, the price is all affordable!

At this state, I will highlight the soft ice cream stand, where I highly recommend you to try their delicious meals, especially the brownies ice cream they sell here. It's sweet, soft, and creamy, and tastes great. If you want a savoury meal, you can try their fried food, like nuggets, french fries, etc.

The park is well-kept and has good facilities. There is so much to see and see that it might be overwhelming. But thanks to the great facilities so that you can have a nice visit without any worries.
