One of the best things to do on vacation is to go to the safari park!
Safari park is a good destination for you and your family because it has many fun things to offer. We all know that going to safari park is an awesome experience that doesn't require any adrenaline, it's a great learning opportunity for youngsters, and safari park itself plays a tiny role in the long-term welfare of the animals housed there.
This article offers a quick introduction to Bali Safari and Marine Park . Well, Bali is a world-class tourism destination known for its stunning beaches. And who would have guessed that Bali had well-maintained safari park among its many other attractive tourist spots.
There are lots of animal exhibition spots in Bali, starting from zoos that present all animals from all over the world such as the Bali Safari & Marine Park and Bali Zoo, to those that present certain types of animals such as the Butterfly park, Bali Bird Park, and many more.

Located at Gianyar on the island of Bali, Taman Safari Indonesia III, also known as the Bali Safari and Marine Park, is the third of Taman Safari's safari parks in Indonesia. The Taman Safari Group, which oversees Taman Safari Indonesia 1 in Cisarua, Bogor, West Java, and Taman Safari Indonesia 2 in Prigen, East Java, is the one who operates the Bali Safari and Marine Park as well.
Tickets to the Safari Park aren't cheap, but there's a lot to see and do there. Seeing the tropical wildlife of this park is definitely worth going for a family day out, a romantic date, or even if you're just an animal lover in general.
Difference Between Zoo and Safari Park
Did you know that zoos and safari parks use different concepts and approach in their animal exhibits? While most zoos keep animals in cages for the exhibitions, animals at a safari park are allowed to wander in a setting that mimics their natural habitat.
As we know, there's this ‘Bali Safari and Marine Park’ and ‘Bali Zoo’ in Bali, but they actually share more than just a different concept. The zoo exhibition is limited to animals, but the Safari and Marine Park features a wide array of attractions, including the safari animals themselves, an aquarium, picture opportunities with various kind of animals (like orangutans, birds, and snakes), excellent performances featuring trained animals, and a small waterpark perfect for kids and adults alike.

Meet the Wildlife Animals

The safari park is a home for over 100 species, including some of the endangered and the rarest. Here, you can meet the world's largest land mammals (elephants), the second-largest cats in the world (lions), and even Corona! No no, it's not the virus we know, Corona is the name of a giraffe who was born in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. You definitely have to greet her during your visitation to Bali Safari and Marine Park.
Are you a lover of Hippos? Tigers? or Zebras? Don't worry, you can meet them all here. By using the Safari shuttle bus access, you will be escorted around the safari. On the bus, you can sit back and relax while enjoying the scenery and the existence of wildlife from various parts of the world, such as India, Indonesia and Africa. What's more, you will also be accompanied by a tour guide who will explain all the details of the animals you saw at that time in both English and Indonesian!
Feed Animals

Feeding animals is a very memorable experience for every animal lovers. Also, by providing food, we can develop closer relationships (bonding!) with the animals we like. Fortunately, Bali Safari and Marine Park offers its visitors to feed the animals, ranging from large animals such as giraffes and elephants, to friendly animals such as rabbits, goats and others.
Of course, you will need to spend extra cash on the animals' food. If you want to feed the animal while you're exploring the safari park, you'd better have some cash on hand.
Take Photos With the Animals
Taking pictures with animals is an experience that must be offered by a safari park, don't you think? At Bali Safari and Marine Park, you can take pictures with friendly animals such as birds, orangutans, and many others! Make sure you don't miss this opportunity.
For further experience, you can use photo services from Bali Safari and print your images on the spot. But surely, this activity will cost you more money

There are lots of shows presented by Bali Safari and Marine Park. The shows shown here do not require additional fees because the payment is included with the entrance ticket you purchased. Well, you need to check what package you buy before you go in!
There are various shows ranging from elephant shows, big cat shows, animal shows, to the Bali Agung Show (a show featuring spectacular dancers with the participation of exotic Bali safari animals). Make sure you check the schedule for these shows before going to Bali Safari and Marine Park, you don't want to miss a single show, don't you?
Have Fun in The Water Play Zone

The Water Play Zone was designed for children, this play zone is completely safe so that your cherished children may have a great time when they splash around in the water throughout the day. When the safari claims "Bali Safari is a fun and exciting child-friendly space for your kids." well, I can't disagree no more.
After a long day exploring the safari, playing with water might be the best choice for your kids, so make sure they get the ultimate experience visiting Bai Safari, and don't forget to bring some clothes changes.
Eat Near The Lions at Uma Restaurant

Here you can experience the sensation of eating near lions, the only thing that separates you and the lions is just a clear glass. You can't visit Bali Safari and not eat at Uma Restaurant; the food there is as exceptional as the scenery.

Night Safari Package

Did you know that there are animals that are active at night? If the day time safari is boring for you maybe the night safari package at Bali Safari and Marine Park is just what you need.
This night package is available from 6 p.m. local time (18.00 WITA). Here you can participate in the night safari journey, you can enjoy a cup of welcome drink and even a dinner! Not only that, what's special about this night safari package is the specially designed caged tram that will take you on a journey, where you will get to witness and hand-feed animals at a close range!
